By William Shakespeare
Directed by Heather Knowles and Alicia Dean

“O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?”
William Shakespeare’s timeless tale of star-crossed lovers Romeo and Juliet, torn apart by their feuding families, is given a gothic twist in SUDS’s latest production, echoing the dark themes within the play. The use of minimal set and immersive theatre heighten the dramatic tension of this tragic love story, giving a fast-moving, lively experience of Shakespearean theatre that will be particularly accessible to all. A story of revenge, death, fate, and love, “for never was a story of more woe, than this of Juliet and her Romeo”.
