Plays for 2025

We are delighted to announce the following productions for 2025:

The Importance of Being Earnest
by Oscar Wilde

Directed by Mick Connell and Ray Globe
University Drama Studio
Wednesday 9th – Saturday 12th April 2025

7.30 pm

‘A Trivial Comedy for Serious People’

Wilde’s satirical comedy focuses on the social and moral hypocrisy of late Victorian society. But it’s the show’s ageless wit and unforgettable characters that give Wilde’s best remembered play its lasting appeal and relevance.

‘The truth is rarely pure and never simple’

Auditions took place in December and we have an amazing cast currently in rehearsals. You can book now for this hilarious play.

Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook pages for updates on what we are getting up to.

The Crucible
by Arthur Miller

Directed by Ian Gledhill
University Drama Studio
Wednesday 12th – Saturday 15th November 2025

Auditions for The Crucible will be held in June 2025.

We are currently exploring further activities for 2025, including play readings, a musical evening, a writing workshop and rehearsed readings. More details to follow soon.
