A ridiculous farce from the imagination of Oscar Wilde, adapted for the stage by Constance Cox.

Lord Arthur is due to be married to his lovely fiancee, Sybil. His future mother-in-law, however, is less than enthusiastic about the match and employs a fortune teller to try and find out if there are any indiscretions in Arthur’s past and future. The fortune teller tells Arthur that he sees murder ahead! Arthur decides – of course – that the only logical course of action is to try and get this dreadfully embarrassing act out of the way before his wedding in three weeks’ time.

Aided by his loyal butler and a mad German anarchist, Arthur tries to kill off various members of his family using poisoned sweets, rigged clocks and exploding umbrellas!
